Day 1: Arrival and Preparation
Arrive in Arusha and transfer to the Mount Meru trailhead. Meet your guide, undergo a briefing, and begin your trek through the lush forest. Reach Miriakamba Hut for the night, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the vibrant forest.
Day 2: Trek to Saddle Hut
Hike through the enchanting forest and onto the open grasslands of the Saddle, offering remarkable views of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. Reach Saddle Hut for an overnight stay amidst breathtaking scenery.
Day 3: Summit Attempt
Begin the early morning ascent to the summit of Mount Meru. Climb through rocky paths and experience the thrill of reaching Socialist Peak (4566m), the highest point. Descend to Saddle Hut for a well-deserved rest.
Day 4: Descend and Departure
Descend through the forest to the trailhead, where your adventure concludes. Transfer back to Arusha and bid farewell to Mount Meru, leaving with unforgettable memories.
